Yep, McDonald’s came out with the news in November that their holiday lineup is back.
The lineup is different in different places – so no matter where you are, you’ll know McCafe will help you feel all warm and toasty inside.
Holiday Drinks At McDonald’s
There have been some delicious holiday drinks at McDonald’s over the years. From peppermint mochas in North America to choco fudge lattes in the United Kingdom.
We’ve compiled a list of past and present holiday drinks.
1. Peppermint Mocha (2022)
It only makes sense that McDonald’s offers their own version of this seasonal staple.
If you are in the US or Canada, I recommend giving the McDonald’s peppermint mocha a shot. The peppermint flavor comes through and I didn’t find the drink overly sweet.
Psst… it’s also a lot cheaper than you know where.
Ingredients:
- Chocolate Peppermint Syrup
- Milk
- Espresso
- Whipped Cream
- Chocolate Drizzle
2. Peppermint Hot Chocolate (2022)
Another holiday favorite available in the US and Canada. Peppermint hot chocolate have all the rich chocolatey flavor of hot chocolate but with a minty twist.
The peppermint does a great job of refreshing my palate after a few sips.
It also balances the rich chocolate making it a winter night treat.
Ingredients:
- Chocolate Peppermint Syrup
- Milk
- Whipped Cream
- Chocolate Drizzle
3. Toffee Latte (2022)
If you are a fan of creamy coffees and find yourself in the UK this holiday season, then try this drink.
Toffee lattes are rich and creamy with a light ‘’caramel-y’ flavor. The reviews are mixed though – some say the toffee is barely noticeable.
Ingredients:
- Toffee Syrup
- Milk
- Espresso
- Whipped Cream
- Toffee Drizzle
4. Hot Chocolate Deluxe (2022)
Released in the UK as part of their 2022 holiday menu, the chocolate deluxe is dubbed the chocolate lover’s dream.
The flavor is richer and deeper than your basic hot choc.
However, people complained that it lacked the flavor that was promised.
Ingredients:
- Chocolate Syrup
- Milk
- Whipped Cream
- Chocolate Powder
5. Brazo Ice Coffee & Frappe (2021)
These unique treats can only be found in the Philippines.
The Brazo de Mercedes roll, a favorite Filipino dessert with sweet and citrusy cream, inspired this holiday drink.
You’ll find the infamous Brazo sauce on the bottom of this coffee. Stirring in the sauce creates a uniquely bitter-sweet drink. (1)
Ingredients:
- Brewed Coffee
- Brazo Sauce
- Milk
- Sugar
- Ice
6. Eggnog Shake (2020)
A fan favorite, the Eggnog Shake was last seen on the holiday menu in 2020.
Take eggnog’s sweet and creamy flavors and blend them with soft serve to make a surprisingly light frozen treat.
Even though we didn’t get to try this, it’s easy to see why it’s loved across the board.
Ingredients:
- Vanilla Soft Serve
- Eggnog Syrup
- Whipped Cream
- Maraschino Cherry
